Manju Ale was born in 1981 in kathmandu, Nepal, where she lives, studies
and teaches local dances and Taiji Quan.
She is studying sociology at the University with particular interest
on anthropology of folk dances, Charya (sacred and ritual dances)
and Kathak (indian classical dances).
Athlete of national level in karate, since 1994 she has been won many
first places in her category.
One of her main interest is in painting, in particular she is dedicated
to Thankha (tibetan art).
Since 2004 she has been attending Sferologico School to learn Taiji
Quan. After one year of daily training and continuous practice she
started giving lessons in a programme of helping women survivor of
violence of her country, Nepal. Today she teaches Taiji Quan at the
University of Kathmandu.
